    Betapyn Tablets (18 pack) from Adcock Ingram are a trusted combination painkiller for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. Including tension headaches, toothache, period pain, back pain and muscular aches. Each sugar-free tablet combines paracetamol and codeine for effective pain relief, doxylamine succinate, which has calming, muscle-relaxing properties valuable in tension-type pain, and caffeine to enhance the pain-relieving effect. Betapyn is a popular choice for stubborn headaches and pain not relieved by paracetamol alone. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

    Each tablet: Paracetamol 450mg, Codeine phosphate 10mg, Doxylamine succinate 5mg, Caffeine anhydrous 50mg. Sugar-free.

    Directions for Use
    Adults and children over 12 years: take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed for pain. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Swallow with water; may be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. If pain persists beyond 3 days, see your doctor or pharmacist.

    Contains codeine. Can cause addiction if taken continuously for more than 3 days; prolonged use for headaches may worsen them. May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery, and avoid alcohol. Do not give to children under 12 years. Do not use with severe liver impairment, breathing problems, during an asthma attack, or with other paracetamol products (overdose risk. Can cause severe liver damage). Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only on medical advice. Caution with peptic ulcers (contains caffeine). Store below 25°C.
