Overview

Deep Relief from Mentholatum is a dual-action pain-relief gel that combines two ingredients. Ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and levomenthol, which gives a cooling sensation. Applied to the skin, it targets pain at the source while the menthol soothes, helping to relieve backache, muscular aches, sprains, strains, and rheumatic and joint pain. The cooling, non-greasy gel absorbs into the skin to ease local pain and inflammation. Deep Relief is a convenient choice for everyday muscle and joint discomfort. For external use on the skin.

Ibuprofen 5% w/w and Levomenthol 3% w/w (confirm against the product packaging).

Directions for Use

For external use only. Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area and gently massage into the skin until absorbed, up to three times a day, leaving at least 4 hours between applications (no more than 4 times in 24 hours). Wash your hands after use, unless treating the hands. Do not use for longer than recommended without advice.

For external use only. Keep away from the eyes, mouth and broken or infected skin. Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs, or if these have triggered asthma or skin reactions. Avoid in late pregnancy. Do not cover with airtight dressings or expose the treated area to strong sunlight. Do not use together with other NSAID products without advice. Stop if a rash develops. Store below 25°C.
