Overview

Serrared 15mg Tablets contain serratiopeptidase 15mg, a proteolytic enzyme used as an anti-inflammatory adjunct. Reducing swelling, inflammation and pain after surgery, injury or dental procedures, and helping thin secretions in some respiratory and sinus conditions. Often added alongside painkillers or antibiotics to speed the settling of swelling and inflammation.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet as prescribed, typically two to three times daily, swallowed whole on an empty stomach (usually before meals) for best enzyme activity. Do not crush or chew the enteric-coated tablet. Take for the short course prescribed alongside any other treatment.

Report any unusual bleeding or bruising. Enzyme preparations may add to the effect of blood thinners; tell your doctor if you take anticoagulants or antiplatelets, or are due for surgery. Discontinue and seek advice if rash, breathing difficulty or significant stomach upset occurs. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice.
