Overview

Oxifast-P Tablets (30 pack) combine an anti-inflammatory pain reliever (NSAID) with paracetamol to give stronger relief from pain and inflammation. The two work in different ways. The NSAID reduces inflammation and the pain and swelling it causes, while paracetamol adds further pain relief through a separate route, so together they tackle moderate pain more effectively than either alone. Combinations like this are used for musculoskeletal pain such as back and joint pain, dental pain and post-injury or post-operative aches. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once or twice daily, with or after food and a glass of water, for the short course advised. Because it contains paracetamol, do not take any other paracetamol-containing medicine at the same time. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time, and tell your doctor if pain does not improve.

Contains paracetamol. Do not combine with other paracetamol products, and never exceed the dose, as overdose can seriously harm the liver. Because it contains an NSAID, take it with food and avoid if you have a stomach ulcer; tell your doctor about heart, kidney or liver problems, high blood pressure or asthma. Avoid excess alcohol. Not recommended in late pregnancy; use earlier in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Stop and seek care for black stools, severe stomach pain or signs of allergy. Store below 30°C.
