Ace Paracetamol Suppositories 125mg (10 pack) provide fever and pain relief for babies and young children by the rectal route. Each suppository delivers a measured 125mg dose of paracetamol, the gentle first-line medicine for fever, teething pain, earache and post-immunisation fever. The suppository melts at body temperature and is absorbed without anything needing to be swallowed, giving parents a dependable way to bring a small child's fever down safely.

Directions for Use

Use the dose your doctor or pharmacist advises for the child's weight. Typically one 125mg suppository every 6-8 hours as needed for children of the weight band on the pack, to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. Wash hands, unwrap, lay the child on their side and insert the suppository pointed end first into the rectum. Hold the buttocks together briefly. Do not give other paracetamol products at the same time.

Never exceed the stated dose or combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines. Overdose causes serious liver damage. Check the weight/age band before use; seek a doctor for infants under 3 months with fever. See a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days, the child is drowsy, has a rash, stiff neck or difficulty breathing. Do not use with diarrhoea (absorption is unreliable). Store below 25°C.
