Overview

Nurofen for Children Strawberry Suspension 100ml offers the same trusted ibuprofen 100mg/5ml fever and pain relief as the orange version, in a strawberry flavour many children prefer. It tackles fever (including after immunisations), teething, earache, sore throat and everyday aches in children 3 months to 12 years, with up to 8 hours of relief per dose. Sugar-free, with an accurate dosing syringe included. Dependable paediatric pain relief for families.

Ibuprofen 100mg per 5ml oral suspension. Sugar-free; contains maltitol.

Directions for Use

Shake well. Dose by age and weight using the syringe provided. Typically 2.5ml (3-12 months, on advice), 5ml (1-3 years), 7.5ml (4-6 years), 10ml (7-9 years) or 15ml (10-12 years), up to three times in 24 hours, at least 6 hours apart. Give with or after food or milk. Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours. See a doctor if fever persists beyond 3 days.

Do not give with dehydration, chickenpox, aspirin/NSAID allergy, NSAID-triggered asthma or stomach problems. Not for babies under 3 months or under 5kg except on medical advice. Do not combine with other ibuprofen or NSAID medicines. Babies under 6 months with fever need medical review. Seek urgent care for drowsiness, stiff neck, non-fading rash or laboured breathing.
