Panadol Baby & Infant Suspension 100ml from GSK/Haleon contains paracetamol 120mg/5ml in a gentle, sugar-free strawberry-flavoured suspension specially formulated for babies and young children. It relieves pain and reduces fever from teething, sore throats, earache, colds and childhood immunisations. Trusted by parents and recommended by paediatric clinics for decades. Gentle on little tummies when used as directed, Panadol Baby & Infant is a must-have in every family's medicine cabinet for those unsettled, feverish nights, suitable from 2 months of age (on medical advice for the youngest infants).
Paracetamol 120mg per 5ml oral suspension. Sugar-free. Full excipient list available on product packaging.
Directions for Use
Shake the bottle well before each dose. Dose by your child's age and weight using the table on the packaging and the measuring device provided. Typically every 4-6 hours as needed, with no more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products. For infants under 3 months, use only on a doctor's or clinic's advice. If fever or pain persists beyond 24-48 hours, or your child seems very unwell, see a doctor promptly.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Paracetamol overdose can cause serious liver damage; seek immediate medical help if an overdose is given, even if the child seems well. Never give adult paracetamol preparations to children. High fever in infants, fever with a rash, stiff neck, drowsiness or refusal to feed needs urgent medical review. In malaria-prone areas, have fevers checked promptly. Check with a pharmacist before combining with other children's medicines. Store below 30°C; use within the period stated after opening.
