Serrazen Plus tablets contain Aceclofenac 200 mg and Serratiopeptidase 30 mg which is used for pain relief. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding. Serrazen Plus is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor. It should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Common side effects include Nausea, Vomiting, Heartburn, Loss of appetite, Indigestion, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea. The following information is an educational aid only.
