Overview
Tramadol Injection 100mg/2ml is a prescription opioid painkiller given by injection to relieve moderate to severe pain, for example after surgery or injury, or where oral medicines are unsuitable. It works on the central nervous system to change how the body senses and responds to pain. As a controlled opioid medicine administered by a healthcare professional, it is used under medical supervision for patients needing prompt, stronger pain relief.
Directions for Use
This is a controlled prescription opioid for injection. It is given by a doctor or nurse (into a muscle or vein, or via a drip). The dose and timing are determined by the prescribing doctor based on the patient's pain and condition. It is not for self-administration. Patients are monitored during and after the injection.
This is a controlled opioid given under medical supervision. It can cause drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure and, in higher doses, slowed breathing; it also lowers the seizure threshold. Tell the medical team about epilepsy, breathing problems, head injury, liver or kidney disease, and all other medicines. Especially other sedatives, opioids, or antidepressants (risk of serotonin syndrome). Avoid alcohol. Not for use in certain types of poisoning or uncontrolled epilepsy. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
