Overview

Klenzit Gel from Glenmark contains adapalene 0.1%, a third-generation retinoid for the treatment and prevention of acne. Adapalene works inside the pore, normalising the way skin cells shed so pores stop blocking. Clearing existing blackheads and whiteheads and preventing the blocked pores that become inflamed pimples. Gentler on skin than older retinoids like tretinoin, it suits long-term maintenance of clear skin. Klenzit is a smart nightly habit for teens and adults with comedone-prone or mildly inflamed acne who want steady, lasting results.

Directions for Use

This medicine should be used as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Apply once daily at night: cleanse the face gently, pat dry, wait a few minutes, then apply a thin film (pea-sized amount) across the whole acne-prone area. Avoid the eyes, lips and corners of the nose. Wash hands afterwards. Improvement typically shows after 4-8 weeks. Keep going through the early adjustment period of mild dryness.

Mild redness, dryness, peeling or stinging is common in the first weeks. Moisturise daily and shorten contact time if needed. Increases sun sensitivity: use sunscreen every morning and avoid sunbeds. Do not apply to broken, sunburnt or eczema-affected skin; avoid waxing treated areas. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Discuss alternatives with your doctor. Introduce other active skincare (exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide) only on advice. Store below 25°C.
