Roaccutane 20mg Capsules from Roche contain isotretinoin, a powerful vitamin A-derived medicine used to treat severe acne. Nodular, cystic or scarring acne. That has not responded to antibiotics and topical treatments. Isotretinoin dramatically reduces the skin's oil production, shrinks oil glands, unblocks pores and calms inflammation, often producing long-lasting clearance after a single supervised course. Because of its strength and potential side effects, Roaccutane is prescribed and monitored by dermatologists or experienced doctors only. For many people living with severe, confidence-eroding acne, it remains the most effective treatment available.

Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine used under specialist supervision. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your body weight and response. Typically taken once or twice daily with food, which improves absorption. Swallow capsules whole with water. Courses usually run several months; attend all review and blood-test appointments, and never share this medicine with anyone else.
Must NOT be used during pregnancy. Isotretinoin causes severe birth defects. Women of childbearing age must use effective contraception for at least 1 month before, during and for 1 month after treatment, with pregnancy testing as directed. Do not breastfeed or donate blood during and for 1 month after treatment. Expect dry lips, skin and eyes. Use lip balm and moisturiser; avoid waxing and strong sun exposure. Report mood changes, depression, severe headaches, stomach pain or vision changes promptly. Avoid vitamin A supplements and tetracycline antibiotics. Blood lipid and liver monitoring is required.
