Overview

Clobederm-S Lotion (20ml) is a potent topical treatment for stubborn scalp and skin conditions. It pairs clobetasol propionate. A very strong corticosteroid that rapidly calms inflammation, redness, itching and scaling. With salicylic acid, which lifts and loosens thick scale and plaques so the steroid can penetrate. It is used for short courses in resistant scalp psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis and other steroid-responsive disorders of hairy skin. The easy-apply lotion spreads through the hair to reach the scalp, offering people relief from flaky, inflamed scalp conditions under medical guidance.

Clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/v with salicylic acid in a lotion base. Confirm exact concentrations on product packaging.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Usually apply a thin film to the affected scalp or skin once or twice daily for a short course (commonly up to 2-4 weeks). Part the hair, apply directly to the affected area and massage in gently. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands. Do not use under dressings or on the face unless specifically advised, and do not exceed the prescribed duration.

Contains a very potent steroid. Not for use on the face, in skin folds, on broken or infected skin, or for prolonged periods, as it can thin the skin and be absorbed into the body. Avoid in untreated bacterial, fungal or viral skin infections. Do not get in the eyes. Stop and seek advice if the condition worsens or signs of infection appear.
