Diprosone Cream 0.05% (30g) provides the potent corticosteroid betamethasone dipropionate in a smooth, vanishing cream that suits moist or weeping inflammatory skin conditions and areas where an ointment would feel heavy. It rapidly relieves the itching, redness and swelling of eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis flare-ups, restoring comfort while the skin settles. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Apply a thin film to the affected skin once or twice daily and rub in gently. Treat for the shortest time that settles the flare. Typically up to 2 weeks. Then stop or step down to a milder preparation or emollient as advised. Wash hands after applying.

Potent steroid. Avoid the face, groin, armpits, broken skin and young children unless specifically directed. Do not apply to untreated fungal, bacterial or viral skin infections. Prolonged or widespread use thins skin and may cause systemic steroid effects, especially under occlusion. If the rash worsens or fails to improve within 2 weeks, seek review.
