Aldara 5% Cream Sachets (12 pack) contain imiquimod, an immune-response modifier prescribed for external genital and perianal warts, and by specialists for actinic keratoses and superficial basal cell carcinoma. Rather than attacking lesions directly, imiquimod switches on the skin's own immune defences to clear the abnormal cells. A targeted approach applied at home in single-use sachets. Treatment is supervised by a doctor, with application schedules tailored to the condition being treated.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Schedules differ by condition (for genital warts, typically applied thinly at bedtime 3 times weekly, washed off with mild soap and water after 6-10 hours). Apply a thin layer from one sachet to the affected area only, rub in until absorbed, and wash hands before and after. Do not cover with airtight dressings. Each sachet is single-use.

For external use only. Avoid eyes, lips, nostrils, and internal genital or anal surfaces. Local redness, flaking and tenderness are common and expected; pause treatment for severe reactions and contact your doctor. Avoid sexual contact while cream is on the skin. It can weaken condoms and diaphragms. Not recommended in pregnancy except on specialist advice. Uncircumcised men treating under the foreskin must retract and wash daily.
