Overview
Lucoderm Cream is a topical preparation used to help manage uneven skin pigmentation. Sources describe two different formulations under this name. An Ayurvedic cream (with ingredients such as bakuchi and neem) used to support repigmentation in vitiligo, applied before morning sunlight; and a skin-lightening cream described as containing hydroquinone to reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Because the active ingredients differ significantly between sources, the exact formulation must be confirmed before use. This product is for adults managing pigmentation concerns under guidance.
Directions for Use
Confirm which formulation you have before use, as instructions differ. In general, apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed on the packaging (commonly twice daily). For psoralen/bakuchi-type repigmentation creams, controlled morning sun exposure may be advised after application. Follow the specific directions and any dermatologist's advice. Avoid surrounding healthy skin and the eye area, and use daily sunscreen as directed.
For external use only. Confirm the active ingredients before use, as this product may contain a photosensitiser (increasing sun sensitivity and burn risk) or a skin-lightening agent such as hydroquinone (which can irritate and should be used only for limited periods under guidance). Avoid the eye area; do a patch test first. Use sun protection. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised. Discontinue and seek advice if marked irritation, redness or burning occurs. Store in a cool, dry place. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before use. Keep out of reach of children.
Composition differs by source. Reported as either an Ayurvedic blend (e.g. bakuchi, neem) for repigmentation, or a hydroquinone-based skin-lightening cream. Confirm exact formulation with supplier before use.
