Overview

Lozart H Tablets (30 pack) combine losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), with hydrochlorothiazide (the 'H'), a diuretic. For high blood pressure needing dual therapy. Losartan relaxes and protects blood vessels while the diuretic sheds excess salt and water, together delivering effective 24-hour blood pressure control in one daily tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, with or without food, at a consistent time. Morning dosing helps avoid night-time urination. Continue even when feeling well and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests. Confirm the strengths on your pack.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. Not for use with sulfonamide allergy. May cause dizziness (rise slowly) and increased urination initially. Electrolytes, kidney function, blood sugar and uric acid may be monitored. Caution in gout and diabetes. Avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Maintain hydration in hot weather.
