Directions for Use

Adjust the crutch height so the hand grip sits level with your wrist when you stand upright with arms relaxed, keeping a slight bend in the elbow; slide your forearm into the cuff. Move the crutch (or crutches) and your weaker leg forward together, supporting your weight through your hands, not your armpits. Follow the specific walking and stair technique shown by your physiotherapist or healthcare provider, and check the rubber tip is intact and not worn.

Make sure the height is set correctly and the locking pins and rubber ferrule (tip) are secure before each use, as a worn tip or loose adjustment can cause slips. Take extra care on wet, uneven or slippery surfaces and on stairs. Do not exceed the maximum user weight stated by the manufacturer.
