Overview

The AeroChamber Plus with Infant Mask (Orange) is a valved holding chamber designed for babies from birth to about 18 months who need inhaled medicines. Infants cannot coordinate breathing with an inhaler puff. The chamber captures the medicine mist while the soft, cushioned infant mask seals gently over the baby's nose and mouth, letting normal tidal breathing draw the medicine into the small airways. Recommended by paediatricians for wheezy babies and infant asthma, it ensures the prescribed dose actually reaches the lungs.

Directions for Use

Shake the inhaler, remove its cap and insert it into the back of the chamber. Hold the baby comfortably, place the mask gently over the nose and mouth to form a soft seal, press the inhaler once and keep the mask in place for 5-6 breaths (watch the valve move). Give one puff at a time, waiting about 30 seconds between puffs. Wash weekly in warm soapy water, rinse and air-dry.

Use the infant size only for babies. An oversized mask breaks the seal and wastes medicine. A crying baby inhales less medicine; try to give doses when calm.
