The AeroChamber Plus with Child Mask (Yellow) is a valved holding chamber (spacer) that helps children aged 1-5 years get the full benefit of their asthma inhaler. Young children cannot coordinate pressing an inhaler and breathing in at the same time. The chamber holds the medicine mist so the child simply breathes normally through the soft, snug mask. This dramatically improves drug delivery to the lungs and reduces medicine wasted in the mouth and throat. Directions for Use

Shake the inhaler, remove its cap and insert it into the back of the chamber. Place the mask gently over the child's nose and mouth to form a seal. Press the inhaler once, then let the child take 5-6 slow breaths through the mask. Wait about 30 seconds and repeat for additional puffs, one puff at a time. Wash weekly in warm soapy water, rinse and air-dry. Do not towel-dry. Consult the full instruction leaflet.

Use the correct mask size for the child's age. A poor seal reduces medicine delivery. Replace the chamber if cracked, or roughly every 12 months with daily use. The spacer does not replace correct inhaler technique training. Ask your pharmacist or clinician to demonstrate.
