Overview

Mediscar Silicone Gel 30g is a clear silicone scar-management gel for improving the appearance of scars. From surgery, injuries, burns and acne. Applied to closed, healed skin, the silicone forms a thin, breathable protective layer over the scar that hydrates it and helps flatten, soften and fade raised or discoloured scars over time, including helping prevent and manage thickened (hypertrophic and keloid) scars.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, fully healed skin over the scar once or twice daily as directed, letting it dry before covering with clothing or sunscreen. Use consistently. Scar improvement takes weeks to months. Do not apply to open wounds; wait until the skin has fully healed. Confirm the regimen on the pack.

For external use on intact, fully healed skin only. Do NOT apply to open wounds, broken skin or fresh stitches. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes. Protect treated scars from the sun with clothing or sunscreen, as scars darken with sun exposure. Discontinue if irritation or rash develops. Results take time and consistency. For raised, painful, spreading or problematic scars, seek advice from a doctor or dermatologist.
