Overview

Olmiday 40mg Tablets (30 pack) contain olmesartan 40mg, a potent angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) for high blood pressure. Olmesartan relaxes and protects blood vessels, lowering blood pressure smoothly over 24 hours, and is well tolerated, notably without the dry cough associated with ACE inhibitors. The 40mg strength provides strong blood pressure control.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue even when feeling well and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests. Do not stop without medical advice.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. Report severe, persistent diarrhoea with weight loss (a rare olmesartan effect). May cause dizziness, especially when starting or if dehydrated. Rise slowly. Kidney function and potassium may be monitored; avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Use caution in severe kidney impairment and renal artery stenosis. Tell your doctor about NSAIDs, diuretics and other blood pressure medicines.
