Overview

Relcer Gel (100ml) is a soothing antacid gel that relieves heartburn, acidity, indigestion and trapped wind. It typically combines antacids (such as magaldrate) to neutralise excess stomach acid with an anti-foaming agent (simethicone) to break down gas, and often a mild local anaesthetic to soothe the burning discomfort. Directions for Use

Shake the bottle well. Take the dose stated on the label (usually one to two teaspoonfuls/the measure provided) when you have heartburn or indigestion, often after meals and at bedtime, not exceeding the maximum number of doses in 24 hours. Do not take it at the same time as other medicines (separate by about 2 hours), as antacids can affect their absorption. For occasional use rather than continuous daily use without advice.

For short-term relief of acidity and indigestion. Do not exceed the stated dose. See a doctor if symptoms last more than two weeks, or if you have difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, black stools or vomiting. Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or are on a low-salt diet, and space it from other medicines.
