Vagid CL Pessaries (clotrimazole) are an antifungal treatment for vaginal thrush (vaginal candidiasis), a common fungal infection. Inserted into the vagina, clotrimazole works by killing the yeast (Candida) responsible for symptoms such as itching, soreness, redness and thick white discharge. This pack of 3 pessaries offers a short, effective course to relieve thrush for women . Confirm the strength per pessary on the packaging.

Directions for Use

Use as directed on the packaging or by your doctor. Wash your hands, then insert one pessary high into the vagina at night using the applicator provided (or as directed), for the number of nights indicated by the strength (often 1, 3 or 6 nights). Complete the course even during a period (do not use a tampon), and ideally avoid intercourse during treatment. A separate cream can treat external itching.

For vaginal use. If this is your first episode, you are under 16 or over 60, pregnant, or have recurrent thrush (more than twice in 6 months), see a doctor before use. Seek advice for fever, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or foul-smelling discharge, as these suggest a different problem. Clotrimazole can damage latex condoms and diaphragms, reducing their reliability during and for several days after use. Stop if severe irritation occurs. Store in a cool, dry place.
