Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, at any consistent time of day, with or without food. Continue your heart-healthy diet and attend scheduled cholesterol and liver blood tests. Do not stop without medical advice. Cholesterol and risk rise again when treatment is stopped.

Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. People of South Asian descent may be prescribed lower rosuvastatin doses. Limit alcohol; liver function may be monitored. Tell your doctor about all medicines, especially certain antibiotics, antifungals and other cholesterol treatments, and report symptoms of liver trouble (yellowing, dark urine, persistent nausea).
