Secutril-VT is a prescription heart-failure medicine combining sacubitril and valsartan. It is used to treat chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults, helping to reduce the risk of hospitalisation and improve symptoms. Directions for Use

If switching from an ACE inhibitor, a gap of at least 36 hours is required before starting. Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.

This is a prescription medicine used under specialist supervision. Do NOT use with an ACE inhibitor, or within 36 hours of one, and do not use if you have had angioedema. Not for use in pregnancy. Tell your doctor at once if you become pregnant. Can cause low blood pressure, raised potassium and effects on kidney function, so your doctor will monitor blood tests. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, including potassium supplements and other blood-pressure drugs. May cause dizziness. Store in a cool, dry place.
