Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray 15ml is an antiviral-action nasal spray designed to help stop a cold in its tracks when used at the very first signs. It works physically rather than as a medicine. Coating the nasal lining with a microgel that traps and helps remove cold viruses and creates a hostile environment for them, helping reduce the chance a cold takes hold or shortening it if used early.

Directions for Use

At the first signs of a cold (tickle, sneezing), spray into each nostril as directed on the pack, repeating through the day per the instructions, ideally starting as early as possible. Sniff gently after spraying to spread the gel. Continue for the directed number of days. Confirm the regimen and minimum age on the pack.

For nasal use only, for the age stated on the pack. A warm or mild burning sensation can occur briefly after spraying. Discontinue if persistent irritation or nosebleeds occur. It works best started at the very first signs of a cold. It is not a treatment for an established infection, flu or other illness.
