Vildamet 50/1000mg Tablets combine vildagliptin 50mg, a DPP-4 inhibitor, with metformin 1000mg for adults with type 2 diabetes needing more than metformin alone. Vildagliptin boosts the body's own incretin system so insulin responds to rising glucose, while metformin curbs the liver's sugar output. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet twice daily, morning and evening with meals to minimise stomach upset, swallowed whole with water. Continue diet and exercise measures, monitor blood sugar as advised, and do not adjust the dose yourself.

Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Liver function should be checked before and during treatment. Report unexplained nausea, dark urine or yellowing of eyes promptly.
