Overview

Gaviscon Double Action Tablets (24 pack) provide dual relief from heartburn and indigestion. They work in two ways: antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) neutralise excess stomach acid to ease the burning, while an alginate forms a protective "raft" that floats on top of the stomach contents to help stop acid rising up into the food pipe (reflux). This tackles both the acid and the reflux, soothing heartburn and acid regurgitation. A trusted, fast-acting reflux-and-heartburn remedy for people. Confirm the actives on the pack.

Directions for Use

Chew one to two tablets thoroughly after meals and at bedtime, or when symptoms occur, following the dose on the label. Do not exceed the stated maximum in 24 hours. Chewing well helps the protective raft form. Do not take other medicines at exactly the same time (separate by about 2 hours), as antacids can affect their absorption. For occasional use; if you need it most days, see your doctor.
