Concor 5 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (heart-related chest pain), irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmia). It also helps to prevent future heart attacks and stroke and to prevent migraine. Concor 5 mg Tablet is also used to relieve the symptoms caused by an overactive thyroid gland. It may be prescribed alone or together with other medications. The dose and frequency depend on what you are taking it for and the severity of your condition.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Concor 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
