Overview

Acriptega Tablets combine three antiretroviral medicines. Dolutegravir, lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil. In a single daily tablet for the treatment of HIV infection. Together these medicines stop HIV from multiplying, lowering the amount of virus in the body to very low levels, protecting the immune system and helping people with HIV stay well and live long, healthy lives. This fixed-dose combination is a widely recommended first-line HIV treatment because it is effective, well tolerated and simple to take. Actives: Dolutegravir 50mg, Lamivudine 300mg and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg per tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take exactly as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Taking it consistently every day is vital: missed doses let the virus rebound and can lead to resistance. Do not stop or interrupt treatment without medical advice, collect your refills before you run out, and attend your regular clinic reviews and blood tests.

Never miss doses or stop without advice, as this risks treatment failure and resistance. Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements. Including antacids, calcium or iron, which should be separated from the dose by several hours. As well as kidney or bone problems and any liver disease (including hepatitis B, which this medicine also treats; stopping can flare it). Tell your doctor if you are or may become pregnant.
