Overview
Adol 125mg Suppositories (10 pack) from Julphar deliver paracetamol rectally for babies and young children who cannot keep medicine down. During vomiting, feeding refusal or sleep. Each suppository provides gentle, reliable relief of fever and pain from colds, teething, ear infections and immunisations, bypassing the stomach entirely. For parents nursing a feverish baby at night, suppositories are a practical, mess-free alternative when syrups are spat out, with the trusted safety profile of correctly dosed paracetamol.
Paracetamol 125mg per suppository.
Directions for Use
For children weighing roughly 8-12kg (about 1-2 years; confirm with your pharmacist by weight). Remove the wrapper and insert one suppository pointed end first into the child's rectum, holding the buttocks gently together for a few moments. Repeat every 6 hours as needed. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Wash hands before and after. Do not combine with any other paracetamol product. See a doctor if fever persists beyond 3 days.
Strictly dose by the child's weight. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver; never exceed 4 doses in 24 hours or use alongside paracetamol syrups. Not for children below the weight band on the pack except on medical advice. Avoid with significant liver disease. Local irritation can occur occasionally. Fever in a baby under 3 months always needs a doctor. Store below 25°C (suppositories soften in heat). Refrigeration helps in hot weather. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
