Alphagan P Drops 5 ml is used alone or in combination with other medicines to lower increased eye pressure in conditions such as ocular hypertension and glaucoma. Glaucoma is an eye disease in which the optic nerve is damaged. This damaged nerve leads to an abnormal increase in eye pressure and can lead to permanent vision loss. Alphagan P Drops 5 ml contains Brimonidine tartrate thatÂ works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye). Thereby, Alphagan P Drops 5 ml helps in reducing eye pressure. Treatment of Glaucoma and Ocular hypertension Alphagan P Drops 5 ml contains Brimonidine tartrate, which is primarily used in treating increased pressure of the eye in conditions such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Alphagan P Drops 5 ml works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye) and reducing eye pressure.

Directions for Use

Eye drops: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.Eye gel: Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the gel into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
