Amoxicillin 500mg Capsules (100 pack) contain amoxicillin, a widely used penicillin antibiotic. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one capsule three times a day (about every 8 hours), swallowed with water, with or without food. Space the doses evenly through the day. Complete the full course exactly as prescribed, even if you feel better sooner, to fully clear the infection and help prevent antibiotic resistance.

Do NOT take if you are allergic to penicillin. Tell your doctor, and seek emergency help for any rash, facial/throat swelling or breathing difficulty. Tell your doctor about kidney problems or glandular fever (amoxicillin can cause a rash in glandular fever), and about other medicines. Mild stomach upset, diarrhoea or thrush can occur; seek advice for severe or bloody diarrhoea. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 25°C.
