Ampiclox ('Ampiclo dawa') Suspension is a prescription antibiotic for children, containing ampicillin and cloxacillin. This combination of two penicillin antibiotics treats a broad range of bacterial infections, including respiratory, ear, throat, skin and soft-tissue infections, with cloxacillin also active against certain resistant bacteria. Supplied as a 100ml suspension, it is convenient for treating bacterial infections in children at doctor-prescribed doses.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Give only as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure with the provided syringe or measuring cap. Give at evenly spaced times, usually on an empty stomach (about an hour before meals) for best absorption. Complete the full course even if your child feels better, and do not skip doses. Store the reconstituted suspension as directed and discard any remainder after the stated period.
