Overview
Augmentin suspension 200 mg/28 mg per 5 ml contains Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. It is an antibiotic that belongs in a group of medicines called '' Penicillin''. Augmentin is used to treat sinus infection, throat and chest infection, Skin infection, Urinary infection, Dental infections and other bacterial infections.
Directions for Use
Children 2-6 years (13kg-21kg): 5ml twice daily. 7-12 years (22kg-40kg):10ml twice daily. Consult your doctor on the dosage as this may vary for different conditions.
Contraindicated In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Can be used during pregnancy upon a physician approval for treatment.
