Overview

Augmentin ES Suspension contains amoxicillin 600 mg and clavulanic 42.9 mg (642.9 mg per 5 ml). It is an antibiotic that belongs in a group of medicines called '' Penicillin''. Augmentin is used to treat sinus infection, throat and chest infection, Skin infection, Urinary infection, Dental infections and other bacterial infections.

Directions for Use

Based on the amoxicillin component (600 mg/5 ml), the recommended dose of Augmentin ES-600 Powder for Oral Suspension is 90 mg/kg/day divided every 12 hours, administered for 10 days. Always consult your doctor before taking this medication.

Contraindicated In patients with a history of hypersensitivity to betalactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Augmentin ES suspension is not interchangeable with any other Augmentin oral suspension. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
