Auropred Eye Drops 0.05% contain a low-strength corticosteroid (typically loteprednol or prednisolone) for mild eye inflammation. Easing redness, irritation and discomfort from allergic eye disease, minor post-surgical inflammation and other steroid-responsive surface conditions, under the direction of an eye clinician. The gentle 0.05% strength suits milder inflammation.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Shake well if directed. Instil the prescribed drops into the affected eye(s) at the frequency your eye doctor sets, completing the course and tapering as advised rather than stopping abruptly from intensive regimens. Wash hands first, avoid touching the tip to the eye, and remove contact lenses before use. Discard 4 weeks after opening.

Steroid eye drops require supervision. Prolonged use can raise eye pressure, promote cataracts and mask infections; pressure checks apply to longer courses.
