Brozelin Expectorant 100ml is a chesty cough syrup formulated to loosen thick, stubborn phlegm and make coughs productive and effective. Expectorant and mucolytic ingredients thin the mucus clogging the airways so it clears more easily with each cough, relieving chest congestion from colds, flu, bronchitis and chesty coughs. By helping the chest clear itself naturally rather than suppressing the cough, an expectorant supports faster recovery. A useful bottle in the family medicine cabinet during the cold and flu season.

Directions for Use

Shake well before use and measure with the cup or spoon provided. Dose as directed on the packaging or by your doctor or pharmacist. Typically adults 10ml three times daily and children reduced doses by age. Take with plenty of fluids through the day; water is the best expectorant partner. See a doctor if the cough lasts beyond 7 days, brings blood, or comes with high fever or breathlessness.

Not for dry, tickly coughs. Expectorants suit wet, productive coughs. Do not combine with cough suppressants, which trap loosened phlegm. Check age limits on the pack before giving to children, and consult a doctor for under-2s, in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Diabetics: syrup bases contain sugar.
