Budecort 100mcg Inhaler is a budesonide preventer (controller) inhaler from Cipla for the long-term management of asthma. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Typically one to two puffs twice daily, every day, even when you feel well. Shake the inhaler, breathe out fully, seal lips around the mouthpiece, press once while breathing in slowly and deeply, then hold your breath for up to 10 seconds. Use a spacer for children or weak inhalation. Rinse your mouth with water and spit after each use to prevent oral thrush.

Not a reliever. It will not stop an acute asthma attack; keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler (e.g. salbutamol) at hand. Rinse the mouth after every dose to avoid oral thrush and hoarseness. Do not stop suddenly when symptoms improve. Inflammation returns. High prolonged doses need monitoring, especially of children's growth. Tell your doctor about ketoconazole or HIV protease inhibitor use. Consult your doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Asthma control is usually safer than stopping.
