Calci-Denk 1000mg Effervescent Tablets (20 pack) deliver a full gram of calcium in a pleasant fizzy drink, made to German quality standards by Denk Pharma. Calcium is the cornerstone mineral for strong bones and teeth, and also supports muscle function, nerve signalling and normal blood clotting. The effervescent format absorbs readily and is easy on those who dislike swallowing large calcium tablets. Ideal for women protecting bone density before and after menopause, the elderly, and anyone whose diet runs low on dairy.

Calcium (as carbonate) 1000mg per effervescent tablet.

Directions for Use

Dissolve one effervescent tablet fully in a glass of water (about 200ml) and drink once daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Best taken with or after a meal. If you also take iron, thyroid medicine or certain antibiotics, separate them from calcium by at least 2-4 hours, as calcium blocks their absorption. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Do not use with high blood calcium (hypercalcaemia), severe kidney impairment or calcium kidney stones except on medical advice. Calcium interacts with tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics, thyroid hormones, iron and some osteoporosis medicines. Separate doses. Mild bloating or constipation can occur. Vitamin D is usually needed alongside for absorption. Ask your pharmacist. Diabetics: check sugar content of the effervescent base. Store below 25°C in a dry place with the tube tightly closed.
