Overview
Candid Cream 20g from Glenmark contains clotrimazole 1%, a trusted broad-spectrum antifungal for everyday fungal skin infections. It treats ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete's foot, jock itch, candida skin infections and pityriasis versicolor. The light or dark patches common on the neck, chest and back in warm climates. Clotrimazole works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, clearing the infection and relieving the itching, scaling and discomfort it causes. A staple antifungal cream in homes, suitable for adults and children when used as directed.

Directions for Use
Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly. Especially between toes and in skin folds. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and surrounding area two to three times daily, rubbing in gently. Continue for at least 1-2 weeks after symptoms clear to prevent the infection returning. Total courses typically run 2-4 weeks. Wash hands after use, and see a pharmacist or doctor if there is no improvement after 2 weeks.
For external use only. Avoid eyes and mouth; rinse with water if contact occurs. Do not use on broken skin. Mild burning, stinging or redness may occur; stop if severe irritation or an allergic rash develops. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. To prevent re-infection, dry skin well after washing, change socks and underwear daily and avoid sharing towels. Store below 30°C.
