    Candid TV Shampoo 60ml from Glenmark's Candid range is a medicated antifungal shampoo formulated for tinea versicolor (TV). The harmless but persistent fungal condition that causes lighter or darker scaly patches on the neck, chest, back and arms, and for fungal dandruff of the scalp. Used as a wash over affected skin and scalp, the antifungal action reduces the malassezia yeast responsible, helping skin tone gradually even out and flaking settle. A convenient wash-on treatment for a condition that is especially common in warm, humid climates like Kenya's.

    Medicated antifungal shampoo from the Candid (clotrimazole) range. Confirm active ingredient and strength on product packaging.

    Directions for Use
    Wet the affected skin or scalp. Apply enough shampoo to lather over the affected areas, leave in contact for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use as directed on the packaging or by your pharmacist. Typically two to three times a week for 2-4 weeks for tinea versicolor, then occasionally to prevent recurrence. Avoid contact with eyes.

    For external use only. Avoid eyes; rinse well with water if contact occurs. Stop use if burning, severe irritation or rash develops. Skin colour may take several weeks to even out after the fungus has cleared. This is normal. Confirm the active ingredient and exact usage directions on the packaging.
