Overview

A Caustic Pencil (95%) is a medical applicator tipped with a high concentration of silver nitrate, used for chemical cautery of small skin lesions. Applied by a healthcare professional, it removes or shrinks over-granulating tissue, small warts, verrucas and skin tags, and stops minor bleeding from small wounds. The 95% strength gives a stronger, faster caustic action for more resistant lesions. Designed for precise, controlled application to a small target area.

For external, professional use. Not for self-treatment of undiagnosed skin growths. The high concentration can readily burn healthy skin. Avoid eyes, lips and surrounding tissue. Silver nitrate stains skin temporarily and fabric permanently. Do not use on large areas, moles or any changing or suspicious lesion without medical assessment. Keep away from children. Directions for Use

For use by, or under the guidance of, a healthcare professional. Protect the surrounding healthy skin. Lightly moisten the tip if directed, then apply the pencil tip to the lesion briefly to allow the silver nitrate to act. Avoid contact with healthy skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Because of the high strength, use sparingly and only as often as advised.
