Overview

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine, given as an injection just under the skin (usually into the tummy/abdomen). Use exactly the dose your doctor sets. If you (or a carer) have been taught to inject it at home, follow the technique shown, rotate sites, and do not expel the air bubble in pre-filled syringes. Use it for the period your doctor advises, and do not stop without advice.

As a blood thinner, it increases the risk of bleeding. Report unusual bruising, prolonged bleeding, black or bloody stools, or signs of bleeding promptly, and tell any doctor or dentist you take it. Tell your doctor about kidney problems, recent surgery, stomach ulcers, low platelets, or other blood thinners and NSAID painkillers. Store below 25°C; do not freeze.
