Overview

Clindap Gel 15g contains clindamycin, a topical antibiotic for acne. Applied to the skin, clindamycin reduces the acne-causing bacteria and calms the inflammation behind red, pus-filled spots. Helping clear breakouts and prevent new ones. A widely used topical treatment for mild to moderate inflammatory acne, often used as part of a combination regimen.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Apply a thin film to the clean, dry affected areas (not just individual spots) once or twice daily as directed. Wash hands after applying. Allow to dry before applying other products. Use consistently for several weeks to see benefit; do not stop early once it starts working unless advised.

For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth, nostrils and broken skin. To reduce antibiotic resistance, topical clindamycin for acne is usually combined with another agent (such as benzoyl peroxide) and not used alone long-term. Follow your prescriber's regimen. May cause dryness, peeling or irritation, especially at first. Rarely, significant diarrhoea can occur. Report severe or persistent diarrhoea. Use in pregnancy only on medical advice.
