Overview

Clobederm Lotion contains clobetasol propionate, a very potent topical corticosteroid, in a lotion suitable for the scalp and hairy or weepy areas of skin. It is prescribed for severe, stubborn inflammatory skin conditions. Such as resistant eczema, psoriasis and lichen planus. That have not responded to milder steroids. Clobetasol powerfully reduces the redness, itching, scaling and inflammation of these conditions. Because it is strong, it is used short-term under medical supervision. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Usually a small amount applied thinly to the affected area once or twice daily for a short course (often no more than 2-4 weeks). For the scalp, part the hair and apply directly to the affected skin, then massage in gently. Wash your hands after use. Do not use more than prescribed or for longer than advised, and do not cover with airtight dressings unless told to.

This is a very potent steroid. Use only on the areas and for the time your doctor specifies, as overuse or long-term use can thin the skin, cause stretch marks, or be absorbed into the body. Avoid the face, eyes, skin folds and broken skin unless specifically directed. Do not use on untreated skin infections. Tell your doctor if the condition does not improve or worsens. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice and on small areas. Store below 25°C, away from flame (lotion may contain alcohol).
