Overview

Clofort 750mg Tablets contain ciprofloxacin 750mg, a high-strength broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic for serious or stubborn bacterial infections. Complicated urinary infections, certain respiratory, bone, gastrointestinal and skin infections, as prescribed. The 750mg strength delivers powerful coverage against a wide range of bacteria where strong treatment is needed.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet as prescribed, usually twice daily, with a full glass of water, at evenly spaced times, with or without food. Avoid taking it at the same time as dairy products, antacids, or iron/calcium/zinc supplements. Separate these by at least 2 hours. Complete the FULL course. Drink plenty of fluids.

Fluoroquinolones can rarely cause tendon pain or rupture (stop and rest the limb, seek advice. Risk is higher in older people, with steroids, and the Achilles tendon), nerve symptoms, and mood or sleep changes. Report these promptly. Avoid strenuous exercise during treatment. Can prolong the heart's QT interval. Tell your doctor about heart rhythm problems and all medicines. Increases sun sensitivity. Use sun protection.
