    Overview
    Coversyl 5mg Tablets (30 pack) contain perindopril arginine, Servier's flagship ACE inhibitor for high blood pressure, stable coronary artery disease and heart failure. Perindopril relaxes blood vessels by blocking the enzyme that produces angiotensin II, lowering pressure smoothly over 24 hours while protecting the heart, arteries and kidneys.     Perindopril arginine 5mg per film-coated tablet. Contains lactose.

    Directions for Use
    This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 5mg tablet once daily in the morning, before a meal. Take at the same time each day and do not stop without medical advice. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on blood pressure and kidney function. Attend regular reviews and continue salt reduction, exercise and weight management.

    Do not use in pregnancy. ACE inhibitors can seriously harm an unborn baby; tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant. A persistent dry cough is the most recognised effect. Report it for review. Stop and seek urgent care for swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat (angioedema). Caution with kidney impairment, high potassium, diuretics, lithium and regular NSAIDs.
