DAcne 20mg Capsules (30 pack) contain isotretinoin, a powerful prescription medicine for severe acne. It is used for serious, scarring or persistent acne that has not responded to other treatments such as antibiotics and topical creams. Isotretinoin works by greatly reducing the skin's oil (sebum) production and calming the processes that cause acne, often giving long-lasting clearance after a treatment course. Because it is a strong medicine with important safety requirements, it is prescribed and monitored closely by a doctor (usually a skin specialist). Confirm the active on the pack.

Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine prescribed and supervised by a specialist. Take only as directed by your doctor. Swallow the capsules with water, with food, at the dose set for you (based on your weight and response). Complete the course as advised and attend all review and blood-test appointments. Do not share this medicine with anyone else, and do not take extra vitamin A supplements during treatment.
MUST NOT be used in pregnancy. Isotretinoin causes serious birth defects. Women who could become pregnant must use reliable contraception and follow the pregnancy-prevention measures your doctor sets, before, during and for a time after treatment. Commonly causes very dry lips, skin and eyes, and sun sensitivity. Use lip balm, moisturiser and sunscreen. Report mood changes or depression, severe headache, or vision changes promptly.
