Directions for Use
Shake well before use. Take by mouth using the measuring cup or spoon, at the dose stated on the packaging (with doses by age for children). Drinking plenty of fluids helps loosen the phlegm. It can usually be taken a few times a day. Do not exceed the stated dose, and seek a pharmacist's advice before giving it to very young children.
Confirm the active ingredients and minimum age on the packaging. If it contains a sedating antihistamine, it may cause drowsiness. Do not combine with other cough and cold products without advice. Tell your pharmacist if you (or the child) have asthma or any ongoing condition. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only after advice. Seek medical help if the cough lasts more than a week, keeps returning, or comes with high fever or breathlessness. Store below 30°C, away from light.
